(US Bureau of Labor & Statistics) As new developments allow for treatment of more medical conditions, more health professionals will be needed. An additional 440,000 Registered nurses (with a 2015 median pay of over $62,000) will be needed to meet the demand for services.
Employment among Health Care Occupations is expected to grow nearly 19% from 2014-2024 adding nearly 2.3 million jobs
Colleges throughout the country recognize the value & knowledge level high school students attain through the Health Science classes. This gives students an advantage for admission when applying to higher education with a major in the health care fields. Students taking two years of HST, receive a Nationally recognized two-year Completer Certificate in Health Science Technology.
